The purpose of this website is twofold. Primarily it is about adoption experience and to offer the ‘lighter’ side of adoption and is not intended to offer readers the option of submitting applications nor informing readers of all the legalities of adoption.

There may be certain articles pertaining to this, but it is not the main purpose of the website. There are websites pointed out within this website that refer the reader to various other websites for further, in-depth research.

Secondly, this website offers information and tips on general child-rearing and advice on dealing with common problems that so many of us experience when raising children.

This website was put together mostly from a collection of information accumulated over the years which I have found to be interesting. It offers articles taken from various sources, letters from various people, whether they be biological parents, grandparents, and the adoptee themselves or the adopters.

Many of the articles were written by myself or members of our ‘panel’. I have met some amazing people and feel I need to tell their stories as well.

It gives an insight for the person who wishes to consider adopting a child or the biological mother/father who are considering giving up their child for adoption. Or the adopted child themselves who may wish to research or pose a question based on the nature of this website.

It offers the formal submission of questions of the above nature which will be put forward to a panel of adoptive parents (all of whom have adopted children) and their answers will be purely based from their experience over the years. Alternatively, take part in my blog (not ready yet, but watch this space!) to air your views, opinions, frustrations and ideas.

This website is created with the objective of growing and becoming information-rich as time progresses, and allows the reader to share real experiences.
